Pattern Description:

Tired of plain vanilla socks? Love cables but need a quick knit or a travel project? Want to learn cables?

The best of both worlds, this pattern combines simple ribbing and cable braid design elements, but when combined the execution holds your interest and the results rewarding with a pair of socks that rock.

These knit up very quickly with an easy to memorize pattern. Yet, there's enough going on to keep you from getting bored.


28-32 sts = 4 inches in stocking stitch; blocked.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Womens medium (large), with an 8"-9.5" (10.5") circumference


  • 350 yards (360) /320 m (329m) of fingering sock yarn similar in weight to 360yd/329m per 4.5oz/128g

You Will Also Need:

  • US #1 (2.5 mm) double-point knitting needles
  • tapestry needle

Suggested yarn:

350 yards of Fingering weight
