Pattern Description:

This is a classic, versatile cardigan that is wearable through the weekend or workday! Worked in a worsted or light Aran wool, this is an approachable sweater pattern with a few cabled and textured accents without being too daunting.


18 sts/24 rows over 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • S(M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL) Finished bust: 35(38, 41, 44, 47, 50) inches around, with buttons fastened.


  • Tanis Fiber Arts Green Label Aran (100% superwash merino wool, 215 yds[196m] per 4oz[115g] skein; shown in 'Peacock'): 6(7, 7, 8, 9, 9) skeins (OR your preferred worsted or light Aran wool)
  • 4.5mm knitting needles
  • 4.0mm knitting needles
  • 4 buttons 0.5 ins-0.75 ins in width
  • tapestry needle
  • stitch markers
  • cable needle
