Fairies, princesses, ballerinas, there is always magic in the air with little girls. Perpetually dancing, twirling and dressing up, here is another of my fairy skirt series What Dreams Are Made Of.

Using lace mohair in an airy gauge, the skirt is going to be light, fluffy and beautiful. However, if you prefer a polished, soft and silky look, you may want to choose a merino or silk/merino blend in fingering or lace weight.
And of course, there are choices for sparkles if you wish! By choosing a yarn with metallic thread or sequins, or by adding beads while knitting, you will add the right touch to the magic!

Yardage:
baby: 300-400 yds
toddler: 400-530 yds
child: 540-700 yds
tween: 660-850 yds
Note: the higher number refers to skirt with added flare. If you choose hemline with ruffles, you will need an additional 100 to 300 yds.

19-20 sts on US#6 / 4 mm needles
