Pattern Description:

Peacock Eyes Cardigan is a seamless cardigan worked from top to bottom all in one piece. It features a round yoke which is beautifully ornamented with lace motifs resembling the eyes on a peacock's tail.
The cardigan is suitable for wool blends as well as cotton ones. Solid and semi-variegated yarns are highly recommended in order to show the unique beauty of the lace yoke.

Gauge:

26 sts and 36 rows in 10 cm / 4" in St st with bigger needles. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizes: 30/32, (34/36, 38/40)[42/44, 46/48, 50/52]";

Materials:

  • Approximately 960 [1100, 1240](1350, 1460, 1600) meters / 1050 [1200, 1350](1450, 1600, 1750) yards of fingering weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge.

You Will Also Need:

  • 3.0 mm / US #2.5 circular needle (60 cm / 24" long) and dpns.
  • 3.25 mm / US #3 circular needle (60 cm / 24" long) and dpns.
  • 13 buttons (~1 cm / 0.5" wide), tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders / scrap yarn.
