Pattern Description:

This pattern was inspired by a friends little newborn. Paxton was only 5lb 5oz, so a tiny little thing. I had made him something larger but needed to quickly whip up something tiny to fit him while he was putting on some weight. It was summer when he was born so I did a short sleeved version. I have added notes on how to do longer sleeves however.

This pattern is intended for personal home use only. Commercial use of this pattern is permitted only through a cottage license (knitting for charity does not require a license).

Gauge:

22sts /10cm in Stockingette st on 4mm (US size 6) needleswith 8ply (DK/light worsted) yarn

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

This pattern has 3 sizes:
3-5.5lb preemie size
5.5-8lb Preemie/small newborn size
9lb-11lb Newborn size

Materials:

Between 80g and 120g of 8ply (DK/light worsted) yarn.
60 cm 4mm (US size 6) circular needles
