This sweater knits up amazingly fast thanks to the larger gauge. Bulky yarn is worked in a looser fabric to make a cozy layering piece in winter or even milder weather. It's worked seamlessly, top-down, making it easy to adjust lengthwise for the perfect fit. Stitches for hood are picked up along neckline and worked up after garment. Many options are provided including sleeve length, collar, and waist shaping. Suitable for boys and girls!
10.5 sts and 14 rows per 4 inches in stockinette

Kate's When I Grow Up line is for those of us who are not tots, featuring a modern classic style. Kate also strives to add specifically to the growing body of knits for boys as she has three of her own! You can find her patterns at your local yarn store or online. In her non-knitting life, Kate has just finished up a PhD in Political Science from the University of Florida.
