Pattern Description:

This comfy sweater is the Baby Bear Hoodie all grown up. Still casual and comfortable, but with some refinements such as a rounded hood (for those who don't want to look like an elf) and set in sleeves for a less baggy silhouette.

Just like it's smaller counterpart, it's knit all in one piece in the round - so you can forget about seaming! With a very extensive range of sizes, you can make one for all the big(ger) kids in your life!

Gauge:

16 sts/24 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Chest: 36 [38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60] inches
  • Length: 24 [25, 25, 25.5, 25.5, 26, 26, 27, 27, 28, 28, 29, 29, 30, 30] inches

Materials:

  • Schulana Merino Superlight [93% merino/7% polyamide; 98yds/90m per 1.75oz/50g skein]; colour: Burgundy, 22; 9 [10, 11, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 18, 19] skeins
  • 1 24" US 10 (6 mm) circular knitting needle
  • Set of US 10 (6 mm) double pointed needles, or extra long circular for magic loop

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch holders (or spare yarn for holding sts)
