Originally published with the EFN KALendar (a KAL Calendar), this sweet floral camisole was inspired by warm, summer days. The top features a Faux Seam down the sides which is echoed in the straps. The camisole is worked in the round and flows from the beaded ribbing to the waist shaping with a rounded neckline made by using short rows. A somewhat special element of this piece is the Herringbone Bind-Off which makes finishing the top as easy as weaving in the ends.
22 sts and 32 rows = 4" in St st on US Size 3 (3.25 mm) needles.

My grandmothers were the reason I love hand-work and crafts so much. As soon as I was able to manage a needle and thread, they gave me craft-related responsibilities abound. My earliest crafting photo is me at 5 years old sitting atop a table making a foam cake base in deep concentration, craft glue in one hand and crepe paper in the other.
