Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • purl
  • crochet (optional)

Pattern Description:

QUICK & EASY - I have revised and updated this popular one piece sweater that knitters have been asking for again.

It is knitted from cuff-to-cuff with tapered sleeves and curved underarms.

The front neck shaping is worked with decreases and increases (see photo below and page 2 of pattern).

Sweater has optional crochet edging around neck, cuffs and hem.

This sweater is a wardrobe staple worth having in more than one color, and it is a fast knit!


4.5 sts and 7 St st rows = 2" (5cm

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XS, finished chest 36" (91.5cm)
  • S, finished chest 41" (104cm)
  • M, finished chest 46" (117cm)
  • L, finished chest 49" (124.5cm)
  • XL, finished chest 53" (134.5cm)


  • Super bulky yarn, 500 yards (455m) - 750 yards (685m)
  • Size 15 knitting needles

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle (blunt point) for finishing
  • Crochet hook size N/15 (10mm) for optional trim
  • Stitch markers
