Pattern Description:

A close-fitting, button-down cardigan in eight sizes (XS, S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X), with bodice in corrugated knit/purl fabric, garter-rib peplum, set-in sleeves, and shaped neckband. All pieces are knit flat, bottom up, and seamed. Works up beautifully in solids, tweeds, or tonal variegated yarns.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in a variation in size.

Gauge:

24 sts and 38 rows = 4 inches in Corrugated Diamonds pattern (washed and blocked) on larger needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 31.5(34.75, 38.25, 41.5, 44.75, 48.25, 51.5, 55.25) inches/80(88.5, 97, 105.5, 113.5, 122.5, 131, 140.5) cm in circumference to fit with 1-2 inches of ease

Materials:

  • 1050 (1200, 1350, 1500, 1675, 1825, 2000, 2175) yards of any sport weight yarn with approximately 400 yards per 4 ounces
  • size 3US (3.25 mm) needle for body or size to obtain correct gauge
  • size 2US (2.75 mm) needle or one size smaller than body needle for sleeve cuff and neckband

You Will Also Need:

  • 6(6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7) .5-inch (1.25 cm) buttons
  • stitch markers
  • tapestry needle

Suggested yarn:

2175 yards of Sport weight
