Pattern Description:

Nordic trail is a woman's seamless vest, worked from the bottom-up using bulky-weight yarn and featuring easy lace panels.

This pattern is very detailed and would be perfect for a beginner or advanced beginner knitter who is relatively new to lace work and prefers instructions to be written out in detail (although more advanced knitters will enjoy it as well!). All of the armhole shaping instructions are broken out by size to make pattern reading even clearer.

Gauge:

3.5 stitches & 5 rows = 1" in St st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

33.75 (36, 38.25, 40.5, 45.25, 47.5, 49.75)"

Materials:

Yarn: Approx. 460 (495, 522, 590, 675, 705, 780) yds of bulky-weight yarn, shown in Chunky by Malabrigo Yarn (100% Merino; 100g = 104 yds), 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins.
US 10 16" & 32" circular knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Extra US 10 needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) to be used during 3 needle bind-off technique (can be a circular, DPN or straight needle)

You Will Also Need:

6 stitch markers, 4 of one kind for sides, 2 of a different kind for lace panel
4 pieces of scrap yarn, approx 10" in length
Tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in ends
