This is a seamless top-down pullover that is a fairly easy knit. The pattern is also easy to remember once you've done a couple of rounds. This is a very stretchy stitch and while you're knitting, it may appear that the sweater will be too small. Once it's off your needles and blocked it will be fine.
NOTE: There is also a pattern called Teddy's Baby Pullover that I created using the same stitch as this one, but it is very slightly different in order to accommodate the stitch pattern in sizes to fit 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 mos.
I made it using 16" circular needles, beginning with 2 circulars and then changing to just 1 when there were enough stitches on my needles. I did the sleeves using two circulars. Double pointed needles or one 40" circular for magic loop method will also work.
18 sts / 26 rows in seed st rib pattern

My great-aunt taught me to knit when I was a child of about 8 yrs old so I've been knitting "forever". For the past 2 years I've been designing baby sweaters and selling the patterns. After I retired a few years ago, I started knitting for charity. I knit mostly baby sweaters and send them to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in SD. Selling the patterns I design helps to cover the cost of yarn and shipping. When I design a baby sweater in multiple sizes, I knit all the sizes myself, then send them all to Pine Ridge. I love knitting and I love babies. :)
