Fence was originally published in the Knotions web magazine 2008 winter issue. This magazine isn(tm)t published anymore and the adjusted pattern couldn(tm)t upload unfortunately. This pattern was changed little by little over the last 3 years. Then finally, it evolved into Overlapped deep V and Scooped deep U neck vest named new fence.
This pattern for new fence suggests close fit. Straggled eyelet pattern is very elastic. Negative 2 inch ~ positive 1 inch is suitable when you choice woolen based yarn. For cotton based yarn, 0 ~ positive 2 inch ease is suitable.
Need longer length?
Add desire length (multiple of 4 rows) before the first waist decreased row.
