Romance and Valentine's day always seem to go together well with the Victorian era. These knee-high stockings are romantic and lovely with a satin ribbon lacing detail up the back, reminiscent of a corset.

- One set of five size 2.75mm/US size 2 dpns and US size 3 16" circulars

About the Designer
I love all crafts and art. My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet, my grandfather taught me to oil paint and watercolor, my great-grandmother taught me to sew and design clothes, and my mother taught me how to quilt and embroider. Funny thing is, they all taught me these things starting when I was about five years old. I continued to develop my skills all the way through high school ...
I love all crafts and art. My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet, my grandfather taught me to oil paint and watercolor, my great-grandmother taught me to sew and design clothes, and my mother taught me how to quilt and embroider. Funny thing is, they all taught me these things starting when I was about five years old. I continued to develop my skills all the way through high school winning contests and awards along the way. In college I was able to support myself by selling clothes I had designed and sewn and crocheted baby items.
I spent about 15 years sewing professionally for a variety of businesses and then switched gears to my knitting skills and began designing and knitting socks. I still spend about 6 to 10 hours a day designing and knitting, own a yarn store, have taught myself to spin yarn, and weave, and teach classes on all of it.
I feel SO fortunate to have been raised by such an incredibly talented family. It has brought me countless hours of pleasure and has allowed me to bless the lives of others who love and appreciate such items but never had the opportunity to learn.
