Pattern Description:
Worked in 1 piece from the bottom up featuring crossover ribbing and a Fair Isle design on front. Ribbing at armholes and front is picked up once sweater and hood are knit. Design features 2 collar options: a hood and a shawl collar. Hooded option shown in 37″ chest and shawl collar option shown in 40.5″ chest. Included are instructions to knit a shorter waist length sweater or a longer, hip hitting sweater. Both lengths shown in photo.
Gauge:
14 sts and 16 rows per 4 inches in stockinette
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Chest: 37(40.5, 43.75, 47.25, 50.75) inches
- To fit: 34(37, 41, 44, 48) inches
Materials:
- 600(675, 750, 825, 900) yards MC (add'l 40 yards for hip length sweater) and approx. 20 yards each CC1 and CC2 bulky weight yarn
You Will Also Need:
- Size 9 (5.5 mm) needles and set of 5 DPNs or 16" circulars, stitch markers
- Notions: Five 1-inch buttons
