'Mamma Mia' Here I Go Again

from O/C Knitiot Designs
(6) Name: 'Knitting : 'Mamma Mia' Here I Go Again
'Mamma Mia' Here I Go Again
'Mamma Mia' Here I Go Again
'Mamma Mia' Here I Go Again

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, yarn over

Pattern Description:

This cover-up is knit in one piece with no finish work. If you are familiar with my similar patterns, "Entwined" and "Braided Glory", they are smaller than Mamma Mia. Mamma Mia is ample and can be safely knit for plus size women. I love this version and wear mine all the time. Beware though, you will get lots of compliments and people wanting to know how you did it!
You start knitting on the back lower edge, bind off neck stitches and continue down the front working one or both sides at once. Continue with the fingers, weave them together and finish your tails.

Directions include both chart and written directions.

5 stitches, 6 rows per inch
Gauge is not a big issue with this project.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 33" across shoulders, 26" from neck down to point

  • Universal Yarn, Deluxe Worsted 100g/220yds, (worsted), 3 skeins (660yds)
  • US Size 8 circular needle, 24" or longer

You Will Also Need:

  • 16 small stitch holder or safety pins for woven fingers
  • tapestry needle
