Thank you very much Dave. There is no reason why you can't that I can think of. As long as you have a multiple of 4.
One change that I have made is after the stitches are on your needle. Knit 1, slip 1 across the first row and then begin the ribbing. It makes a neater edge I think. Thanks again and I'd love to know how they turn out. Thanks again.

I think this pattern is awesome... can it be done with fingering wt sock yarn and 64 sts?
