Pattern Description:

This is a newer, rewritten version of the pattern run in the 2009 Summer Interweave Knits magazine. This pattern includes charts & helpful tips / visual guides.

By layering one band of rectangles on top of another, and treating each individual rectangle as a 'canvas' to highlight a repeating lace pattern, this seemingly complex skirt can be broken into simple steps so you can achieve entrelac success!

Gauge:

20 sts x 28 rows = 4"/10cm in St st; 11-st Band 1 rectangle = 21?2" wide and 3" high.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Finished size 321?2 (353?4, 39, 421?4, 451?2)" waist circumference and 25" long (all sizes). Circumference of finished skirt at lower edge measures 75 (821?2, 90, 971?2, 105)". Skirt shown measures 39" waist.

Blue Moon Fiber Arts Luscious Silk ?(100% silk 360 yd/329 m 127 grams) Color: spinel, 4 (4, 4, 4, 5) skeins.
Markers, darning needle, waste yarn, size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
