Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic familiarity with entrelac
  • Comfortable working short rows

Pattern Description:

This entrelac project is unique in that only one yarn is used throughout and that the distinctiveness of the stitch pattern is seen through the use of textured stitches. The raglan shaping for the armhole is achieved by following the line that is naturally formed by the entrelac pattern. Made in silk and wool, the sweater is perfect for Spring but truly can be worn any time of year.


28 sts and 40 rows - 10cm (4") in Stockinette Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 32 (38, 44, 50)" finished chest


  • 1000 (1200, 1375, 1800) yds of fine-weight yarn
  • 3.25 (#3) circular needle - 20" - 24"
