I design at the intersection of style and organic with Puddles, my Great Dane, by my side in the mountains of North Carolina surrounded by God's majestic and inspiring creation. My eye for knitwear meets caring about health, people, and the environment with the goal of connecting with others through high quality knitting patterns that feature eco yarns!
I hope you derive as much enjoyment in working up my patterns as I have had in creating them! Today is a great day to knit :-)
On the yacht or lunch in the city, this Lake Breeze Tank is designed to accentuate all your best curves. Just as a breeze highlights waves on the lake, so the negative ease flatters every woman's form. Diagonal lines meet center mast drawing attention to the natural waist. At this point, the pattern mirrors drawing the diagonal lines up and away towards the shoulders. The unique stepped neckline draws the eye up towards your face.
Knit in Americo Original's cotton flamme, the pattern requires 1 skein for the smallest size and 2 skeins for all other sizes. The finished sizes are for bust sizes: 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, and 62. The pattern includes written directions, charts, a glossary, pictures, and schematics. Tech edited by Katherine Vaughan.
Drape is extremely important to this pattern!!
Yarn substitution is not recommended due to the unique drape of this yarn. However, if you choose to substitute, make sure you find a yarn that has the same working gauge and the worn gauge as this yarn. Also note the yarn used in pattern is slubbed (thick/ thin).
If you are between sizes, go down a size as the shaping is form fitting.
