The lace
These are approx figures, I always say better to have too much than not enough , in total you need 810 holes of lace I would add 10 on just to be safe , that's if you want to count them to sake sure you have enough
The lace requirement was calculated at 2 holes per inch. Lace may vary slightly, so be sure to check the lace you buy
The whole set requires 16yds(14.75m) If you want to knit individual pieces, the requirements are as follows:
The bootees require 5yds(4.5m)
The trousers require 2yds(2m)
The bonnet requires 3 1/4 yds(3m)
The angel top requires 6yds( 5.5m)
How to knit in lace
From the left, place the lace to the back of the work.
Insert the needle into the first stitch and through the first eyelet hole in the lace.
Keeping tension loose, yarn over needle then take it through the lace and the stitch, as you would normally, Follow this procedure to the end of the row and cut off the lace
Tension/Gauge: Using above yarn and needles, over st st, 12 stitches x 15 rows to 2"(
