Pattern Description:

Romantic, delicate and classic. The body is worked in two pieces, starting at center back. The stitch pattern is a 4 row repeat. The cuffs and border band are worked sideways and sewn in place. The sample shown is in Plymouth Yarn's Platinum (50% rayon, 30% nylon, 20% angora). Once you wrap it around yourself, you'll never want to take it off.

Gauge:

with US7 needles: (in stockinette stitch) 5 sts = 1", 7 rows = 1"; (in pattern) 6 sts = 1", 7 rows = 1"

Materials:

  • 12 (13, 14, 15, 16) balls Plymouth Yarn's Platinum (color#3), (99 yds per 50 gms) 50% rayon, 30% nylon, 20% angora
  • US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles
  • US 8 (5.0mm) needles

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle, stitch holders, stitch markers and some scrap yarn for provisional cast-on.
