Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • kitchener stitch (optional)

Pattern Description:

I like black and white, reminds me of yin - yang and the ballance we all need in our lives.
I thought of designing an easy-to-make jacket, but I wanted it to be a bit beyond the basics. Instead of using someone's knitting skills, I thought of using 2 colors and 2 basic stitch patterns: stocking stitch and garter stitch patterns, as well as my inspiration. I tried to minimize seems and buttonholes (there is only one), in order to make this pattern even more easy.
I guess you can use other colors than the ones I did and I can think of many color combinations that would match the pattern's style, such as: navy blue and light beige, dark green and ecru, burgundy red and cream...
I would also recomend same color in two tones combinations, such as: brown and beige, black and dark grey, dark red and burgundy red...
Have fun when you pick up colors and let your imagination free. If you need my help or oppinion, just mail me!
I hope you will enjoy knitting and wearing my jacket!

E: Ok! One morning some time ago, Rosa woke up and felt inspired to make whimsical jewelry! Little by little she added different materials and created impressive combinations.

R: Emmy loves to knit. Her ...
