Pattern Description:

These cheerful tropical socks are knitted from the top down, with a special garter-stitch short-row heel, and are embellished with a cuff of exotic foliage and little hot peppers. Just the sock to cheer you up in a cold northern winter!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This pattern gives directions for ankle length socks in fingering weight yarn, for gauges 6.5 - 8 sts/inch, to fit ankle sizes from 8 - 10".


  • 100g Main Hand-Painted Yarn, 50g Contrast Yarn, 10g Foliage Green Yarn, 5g Pepper Yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • A set of five 2 - 2.75 mm (US # 0 - 2) double pointed needles (dpns), 6 - 8" in length.
