Pattern Description:

The cardigan is built off of a curved, cabled yoke, worked from the neck down with shaping incorporated into the charted patterns. The sleeves are picked up and knit from the armholes out.

Gauge:

Using worsted weight yarn and larger
needles, 5 spi x 7 rpi in yoke patt.
Using worsted weight yarn and larger
needles, 4.5 spi x 5 rpi in bodice cable patt.
Using DK weight yarn and smaller needles,
4.5 spi x 6 rpi in lace pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished bust: 31 (35, 39, 43, 47, 51, 55, 59)'' / 79.5 (89.7, 100, 110.3, 120.5, 130.8, 141, 151.3) cm
  • Size pictured: 43" bust

Materials:

  • Yarn A - Lorna's Laces Organic Wool Worsted, (210yds/192m 3.5oz/100g) per skein; Wheat Yellow 2 (2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5) balls
  • Yarn B - Lorna's Laces Organic Wool DK, (145yds/132m 3.5oz/100g) per skein; Wheat Yellow 3 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) balls
  • Yarn C - 10 yards in contrast color for belt
  • Size 9/5.5mm and 7/4.5mm circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • 5 buttons
  • darning needle
  • sewing thread
  • 4 stitch markers
  • hooks & eyes to sit between buttons (optional)
