Recently my daughter gave me the gift of a new granddaughter.
My mind is flooded with little girl things I want to create.
Here is the first of what I hope will be many.
I hope you enjoy creating one for your special little girl!
This darling sundress has a knitted bodice and fabric skirt.
Leafy vines trail over the shoulders and bobbles create a center sunflower that pops!
Crochet picot edging adds a feminine touch.
Coordinate yarn and fabric to create a spectacular dress for a special little girl.
The bodice is knitted in one piece with only shoulders to seam.
Ribbed side panels adjust for comfort and ease of fit.
This dress requires only 150-170 yards of DK weight yarn, and 1/2 yard of woven fabric for the skirt.
The dresses pictured are knit in a 50/50 cotton/linen blend. Perfect for warm sunny days.
This pattern is fully charted with color photos and written explanations. It includes directions on construction and attachment of the skirt.
5.5 sts/inch and 6 rows/inch in stockinette stitch.
