Pattern Description:
This stitch pattern was perfect for a simple shell, and I couldn't wait to work it up in a yarn that shows great stitch definition. The texture is just beautiful and the pattern creates a natural wave to the bottom edge. Show off this shell all by itslef or pair it with its matching cardigan (Fir Cone Lace Cardigan #107)
The yarn I used works up at a gauge of 5 sts per inch in Stockinette stitch; if you wish to use a different yarn, make sure you find one that will match this gauge.
Gauge:
21 sts and 29 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Fir Cone Lace pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- XS (31.5") to 5X (62")
Materials:
- 800-1200 yards worsted weight yarn
- size 6 (4 mm) needles
