Pattern Description:

Inspired by tribal patterns, this is a lovely, simple but impactful sweater. By having the design on the sleeve it has a certain hidden charm with these patterns appearing as the body moves. The sweater is worked in a beautiful natural colored merino wool with a bright pink silk for the patterning and this contrast of neutral and color / matt and shiny adds another level of interest to this sweater. The fit is close and flattering to the body whilst being comfortable and easy to wear with many types of outfit. The sleeves are designed to hit just onto the hand for a slim, elegant look.

Gauge:

20 sts/30 rows = 4 ins/10 cm in Stockinette St using US #6/4mm ndls.

Sublime - Cashmere merino silk DK Colour #0196 'Smooch' x 1 ball.
US #5/3.5 mm & US#6/4mm circ ndls, in lengths 32 ins/80cm or longer.

You Will Also Need:

Tapestry needle for finishing.
Thread stitch marker, or one which can be looped around a stitch and moved easily.
Row counter.
2 stitch holders, one small and either one long holder or a spare interchangeable needle cord.
