Pattern Description:

Worked from side to side, this entrelac skirt uses graduated units to create the shaping from the waist to the hips. By working in this direction, the color change creates a flattering vertical line. Designed as a wrap skirt, sizing is flexible allowing accomodations for many sizes.

Color changes are simplified by working each tier in a single color pair. The color shading is created by working with 2 strands held together changing one strand each tier. The results is limitless combinations in this fast, fun and interesting knit!


21 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm (4") in Stockinette held double strand

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XS ( S, M L, 1X, 2X, 3X)


  • 4.0 mm (US #6) 24" or longer circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Color A - 575 (675, 775, 875, 1000, 1100, 1200) yds
  • Color B - 925 (1100, 1275, 1425, 1600, 1750, 1900) yds
  • Color C - 475 (550, 650, 725, 825, 900, 1000) yds
