Beginner
My twin granddaughters Finley and Fiona inspired me to come up with an easy and quick design for a simple sun dress that can double as a jumper.
This dress has a feminine picot hem edge and the bodice is worked in seed stitch. It is secured at the shoulders with ties. Just adjust the bow size to adjust the length of the dress!
If you are a beginner knitter, you should be able to make this dress. I'm always available to answer any questions you may have as you work the pattern. I want you to have an enjoyable and successful experience.
In seed stitch, 18 stitches = 4 inches

I am certified as a Level 1 Master Hand Knitter by The Knitting Guild Association. My grandmother Lena taught me to knit when I was 4 years old and told me that a lifetime of knitting pleasure was her legacy to me. I love to design and knit and enter my work in competitions. I've won numerous awards and ribbons over the years and that's a lot of fun, but the greatest pleasure is the actual creative process. I specialize in Beginner and Intermediate level designs that teach new skills and promote excitement for the art that is Knitting. I think new knitters should have the opportunity to work with a well-written design that reinforces their current skills, teaches them new skills and gets a "WOW, you made that?!!?" response when showing off their completed project.
