Duetta features the best of both worlds ... knitting for softness, drape and comfortable fit and a quilted yoke for structure and beauty. The yoke is a blank canvas just right for expressing your unique vision and skills. Two designs are included in the pattern ... for appliqued hearts and a paper pieced chevron design. An extra blank template is included for your personal vision. Imagine crazy quilting, embroidery or cross stitch. The sky's the limit!
Gauge:
6 st./in. for size 9-12 months
5.5 st./in. for size 2 years
5 st./in. for size 3 years
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 9-12 months, 2 years, 3 years
Materials:
- 100 gr. fingering weight yarn for Size 9-12 months or Size 2 years
- 100 gr. DK weight yarn for Size 3 years
- circular knitting needle (16 or 24 in.) size 3.75mm or 5US for 9-12 months size
- circular knitting needle (16 or 24 in.) size 4.5mm or 7 US for Size 2 years or Size 3 years
- set of 4 double point needles size 3.75mm or 5US for 9-12 months size
- set of 4 double point needles size 4.5mm or 7 US for Size 2 years or Size 3 years
- Fat quarter of co-ordinating fabric for quilted yoke
- Fabric scraps for applique or paper piecing
- one 3/4 inch button

Cute Sweater Needs Baby April 29, 2012

I was one of the test knitters for this pattern. It was easy and quick to knit, and I had lots of fun doing my own thing on the yoke.
Now all I need is someone special to give it to. For now, the bear is enjoying it, because it is still chilly where I am.
