Pattern Description:
What I like about the pattern that I chose for this sweater is that it is unusual to find Seed Stitch used as the primary element in a cable, rather than just in the background.
To complement the texture of the cables, I used Seed Stitch for the cuffs, hems and neck band as well.
Gauge:
In Double Chain Cable pattern, 24 sts and 28 rows = 4"/10cm; in Seed st, 18 sts and 31 rows = 4"/10cm.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- S (38.5") to 5X (65")
Materials:
- Worsted-weight yarn, 1744-2616 yards
- One pair size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles
- one size 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16" long
