My husband is forever trying to name my things. Hand-dyed yarn that I'm knitting with, designs I'm working on... Usually, his suggestions are a bit goofy, and I just laugh them off. He like cars and trucks and things that go, so it wasn't surprising that he christened these socks "Diamond Tread," like the grippy material used on semi-truck steps and other industrial surfaces. But, you know, it totally makes sense, and the pattern does look like Diamond Tread, so, Stefan, these are for you.
