Pattern Description:

Recently my granddaughters asked me to knit them matching sweaters. Then my grandsons wanted matching sweaters too. This sweater is what I knit for the boys and my Son. It is funny though, all my test knitters knit theirs for females. This speaks to the versatility of this pattern.

Because the yarn yardage block only allows for one yarn amount I wanted to let you know that these are the yarn requirement for the various sizes:
1020 (1100, 1100, 1210, 1310, 1400, 1400, 1550, 1610, 1680, 1740) yds.

Gauge:

20 st X 28 Rows = 4 inches in Stockinette St.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 36 (38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54") 91.5, [96.5, 101.5, 106.5, 112, 117, 122, 127, 132, 137 cm]

Materials:

  • US Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular in 40 " cable length

You Will Also Need:

  • Darning needle

Suggested yarn:

1740 yards of Worsted weight
