Pattern Description:

My husband loves hand knit socks but he's fussy. They can't be lacy or girl-y! If your man's like mine and you're tired of knitting miles and miles of plain stockinette, this is the sock for you. Of should I say, for him!

This handsome sock features a mock cable which runs all the way down the instep as well as brightening up the heel flap. The mock cable is fun to knit while producing a classy sock that a man will really enjoy wearing.

Cuff down construction, with a heel flap and gusset. No grafting required.

Gauge:

8 stitches/inch in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

to fit a 10-inch-long foot, 10-inch circumference

Materials:

100 gr. (400 m.) of sock wool ( fingering weight wool)
Pictured: Lang Jawoll Magic Superwash (1 skein)

You Will Also Need:

2.5 mm set of 4 double-point needles
3.5 mm set of 4 double-point needles (for cast-on only)

I like the way the cables extend down into the heels and how there is no need for a cable needle, so nothing to get lost.
