Pattern Description:
Have fun playing with color on this child's sweater, which makes a perfect first stranded-colorwork project. The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the neck down with round-yoke shaping, and knits up quickly with aran weight yarn.
Gauge:
4" = 17 sts and 21 rows in Stocking Stitch on larger needles
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 1 year(2 years, 4 years)
- Chest: 21"(23.75", 24.75")
- Body Length: 11.25"(12.5", 14.25")
- Sleeve Length to Underarm: 7"(7.5", 8.25")
Materials:
- Main color: 180(210, 300) yards aran weight yarn
- Contrast color: 90(90, 100) yards aran weight yarn
- US 8/5mm and US 10/6mm circular needles 16" or longer or size needed to obtain gauge and 2 sizes smaller
- US 8/5mm and US 10/6mm set of 4 double-pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge and 2 sizes smaller
