Knitting was one of my earliest hobbies, which I taught myself knitting & crochet when I was in high school. But later, like most people, I got busy with work & life?. and hobbies took less priorities.
Then 20 years later, a MIRACLE happened? I pick up my needles, started knitting and fell in love with it all over again.
Now, I am Mom, Wife, an Apparel Designer by day and a small indie biz owner by night (^_^). Even with a busier schedule, I?m so grateful that I am still be able to enjoy knitting almost everyday again. I have come to realize that KNITTING was my first love and IS my true love.
Ever since I learned knitting, I often like to tweak & convert knitting patterns to fit my own style. I guess that contributed a lot to my creative career. In 2011, I finally published my 1st pattern {cherish by mi}, which also became the name of my new design venture. I love to work with seamless projects, intuitive constructions, hand-spun & super bulky yarns. Hope you enjoy my work & the designs that I {CHERISH} !
