Spice up your self-striping sock yarns with this toe-up sock. Start with a single-yarn, garter-stitch, short-row toe worked on two needles, then knit in the round with a two-color-per-round chequered pattern. This pattern is designed to give a new look to a yarn that would usually give stripes when used singly. The use of garter stitch for the heel and toe and two-color- per-round patterning, make for a strong cozy sock.
This pattern is included in my book, Cool Socks Warm Feet, which is available in paper or pdf format from my website: www.lucyneatby.com
