Basic Skills Necessary:

  • understanding of cable knitting
  • understanding of sweater construction

Pattern Description:

I've always thought it would be cool to "hide" a button-hole in the center of a cable knot. Years ago (before I became a professional designer), I designed a sweater very much like this one ... and wore it to death.

In this tweedy yarn, it's a gorgeous classic with a touch of whimsy in the optional contrasting wind-cuffs.

This is a great way to practice reading charts and doing cables since the cable/chart work is limited to the panels running up the front and a bit of cable on the armholes.

The directions are both written and charted.
