Please Note: As of January 1, 2015 this pattern will no longer be available on Craftsy due to the new European Union taxation rules that are coming into effect regulating digital sales. Patterns will still be available through Ravelry.com (via LoveKnitting.com for EU customers). We sincerely apologize and regret that we will no longer be able to sell through this wonderful community.
A Child's Pullover featuring the 'Homes of Donegal' motif on the front and upper sleeves; back shoulder extensions that underlap the front yoke; 2 buttons at yoke (may be replaced by snaps); I-cord trim; fold-back cuffs; side slits at hem; and Oblique Rib accents at hem, yoke, shoulders and cuffs.
From the pattern...
Construction Notes:The Back and Front hem extensions are knit flat in Oblique Rib, separately. These two pieces are then joined and the body of the sweater is knit in the round to the armholes; the motif is worked on the Front only. Past the armholes, the Front and Back are knit flat, separately. The Back extends over the shoulders and underlaps the Front. The Front is finished with an Oblique Rib band into which 2 buttonholes are worked (unless the knitter opts to use snaps instead of buttons); an I-cord Bind Off finishes the Front. Sleeves stitches are picked up around the armhole edge and Sleeves are knit in the round; an Oblique Rib band at the top of the Sleeve is followed by the small Homes of Donegal motif; the Sleeve continues in Stockinette stitch and ends with a band of Oblique Rib which becomes the Cuff - which may be folded back or worn down; an I-cord bind off finishes the Cuff. The Neck edge is finished with I-cord as well.

NOTICE: With the impending change to the European Union (EU) VAT (value added tax) rules coming into effect on January 1, 2015, that require taxes to be collected according to the Buyer's location, I have no option but to close my Craftsy store. The burden of registering, collecting and tracking tax rates and buyer locations for 28 different EU countries is just not feasible. I sincerely apologize to my loyal Craftsy followers - I really am sorry that I have no other choice. My patterns will remain available on Ravelry.com which has arranged to re-route EU sales to the nice folks at LoveKnitting.com which is VAT registered. Thank you everyone for your wonderful support! I will miss you. ~ Luise
