Unique cables give direction to this simply structured slipover (vest). Knit in the round for finishing ease, "Celtic Cabled Slipover" makes a style statement. Dressed up or down, this vest goes equally well with jeans and office attire.
Vest are truly versatile, and useful garments. They add style to our outfits in warmer months and warmth for our bodies in cooler months. "Celtic Cabled Slipover" was designed to be both easy and quick to knit.
Beginning at the hem, this vest is knit bottom to top with the hem, neckline and armhole trims worked as part of the body. Finishing is only joining the shoulders and weaving ends - and blocking if desired.
The cable pattern is easy to memorize, as are the shaping sequences. This is one project that you'll have done in no time.
I love wearing this vest - no matter when/where I wear it, I get compliments. People like the simplicity that is still classic & stylish.

When not knitting, thinking about knitting or dreaming up new designs, I love spending time with my husband and pets, in the high plains of Colorado where we live.
