Pattern Description:

Because the cable and rib pattern is very easy to memorize, this sweater is a great one to choose if you want to work on your cabling technique, or learn how to cable without a needle. It's such a simple stitch pattern, and yet the result is stunning, particularly with the row of Ridge Stitches setting off the ribbing from the body, sleeves and neck.

Gauge:

In Cable and Rib pattern, 26 sts and 26 rows = 4"/10 cm WELL BLOCKED.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XXS (34") to 5XL (63.5")

Materials:

  • 1225-2225 yards worsted weight wool
  • size 8 (5 mm) needles
  • size 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16" long
