Pattern Description:

It's just an illusion: Pattern for a light oversized sweater with a decorative button band. Both front parts are worked at once and then sewn together after knitting the button band. So the front part is not really buttoned - the buttons are only sewn to the band and the left front part. So you don't have double thickness although it looks as if you have.

Rita Maassen on craftsy.com

In my everyday life I work as a web and graphic designer. After work (and in nearly every free minute) I fetch my needles and start knitting. One day when my family and friends where completely overwhelmed with knitted items, I decided to offer my self-designed models and the corresponding patterns online. That was a few years ago - and I'm very happy that it succeeded so well.
