The body is worked in one piece from the bottom up and separated at the armholes. Front and back are worked separately from this point on, shoulders are joined using the 3-needle bind off. Sleeves are worked separately and sewed in place.
After the piece is finished crocheted edging is worked around the bottom and cuffs, crocheted bands are worked and the collar is crocheted to match the cuffs.
6.25 st x 7 rows = 1" in St st on US #6/4mm needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
Taught to crochet by a family friend at age 7, I didn't take up knitting until I was 25 and then I did so with a passion and a vengeance!
