Pattern Description:

This cozy garter and cable sweater is knitted in pieces. Sleeves may be worked in the round or flat. A shawl collar, shaped with short rows, is worked separately and is sewn in. Three braided cables are placed on the front and two on the back. The sweater is oversized to fit loosely.

Knit in a bulky yarn, it will be done before you know it.

This is the kind of comfy sweater you'll wear all the time, whether hanging out at home or out in the park.


10 sts/4in/10cm in garter stitch

  • 36.5 (39.5, 42.5, 44.5, 46, 49.5, 52.5, 55.5) in/92.5 (100.5, 108, 113, 117, 125.5, 133.5, 141) cm


  • Cable needle
  • US 11 (8.00mm) needles
  • Yarn: Super-Bulky, 850-1200 yds (775-1050m)
