Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

A classic fitted sweater with pretty detailing at the shoulders. The slightly longer length is flattering and elegant, while twisted ribbing gives a neat and finished look. The recommended yarn is gorgeous undyed cashmere, adding a touch of luxury to a simple knit. This sweater is seamless, knitted from the top down, and has set in sleeves. Instructions for 10 sizes are given: to fit bust 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 48, 52, 56)". Guidance for altering the pattern for a perfect fit is given at the end of the pattern.

Gauge:

18 sts and 27 rows = 4" in stocking st with 4mm/ US 6 needles.

  • Devon Fine Fibres Cashmere DK 8, (8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20) skeins. Total meterage: 715 (800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1210, 1325, 1510, 1700, 1910)m Total yardage: 785 ( 880, 990, 1100, 1205, 1330, 1450, 1660, 1860, 2100) yards.
  • One 4mm / US 6 40"/100cm circular needle.

You Will Also Need:

  • Waste yarn, 2 detachable stitch markers, spare 40" circular needle (size 4mm / US 6 or smaller).
