Pattern Description:

My parents belonged to a bowling league when I was growing up, and I loved going to the bowling alley with them. Dad's league shirt was the inspiration for this retro-look polo for spring/summer dressy fun, which comes in children's sizes 2-10. The shirt is worked seamlessly from the top down with seamless set-in sleeves, and hemmed bottom edge and sleeves for a tailored look. Did I mention no seaming?

Like a magpie, I'm easily distracted - by pretty yarn. When I couldn't find the patterns I wanted to knit for my son and daughter, I started designing them. I currently live near Seattle, WA with my great kids and Navy husband, but we're frequently on the move. I design under the name The Magpie Knitter.
