This pattern is perfect for spring! The lacy eyelets and the chevron rib combine to create a pattern that is visually pleasing yet easy to memorize - I know this because I lost my printed chart and could not get to the computer, and knit a fair amount of the foot without looking. The pattern is written for 2-at-a-Time sock construction, but experienced sock knitters can easily knit this pattern using their preferred technique.
Yarn usage will depend on the size of the foot of the wearer. The sample used approximately 280 yards for an 8.5" long women's foot.
7 stitches x 10 rows in stockinette stitch
