Ballet Flats

from Midnightsky Fibers
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Ballet Flats
Ballet Flats ballet flats

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • increase
  • decrease

Pattern Description:

Adorable baby ballet flats knit flat using elastic yarn. The shaping comes from simple decreases. Just 17 rows and an easy to knit strap make these a quick to knit gift that can be knit up in an evening- and a great use for leftover sock yarn!

PS- Maizy or Panda Cotton would be good yarns subs for the Patons Stretch Sock. You could use a non stretchy sock yarn if you can't find any with elastic in it, but the stretch helps keep the booties on tiny feet.

Gauge:

6 st/inch in garter stitch, unstretched

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle to weave in ends
