It's not too early or too late to knit this adorable, easy and quick Sun Dress, which doubles as a Bathing Suit Cover Up and the coordinating Sun Hat. The yarn I used is so light and airy, looks like Terry Cloth.
Gauge:
Gauge: 2.25sts = 1 inch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Sun Dress measurements: 6 mos . (12-18 mos, ) Chest - 18-20 (22)". Length - 14 (16)". Hat Pattern is written for Child Newborn to 18 mos. Head Circumference: 14" - 16"
Materials:
- Bulky #5 (I used Bernat Pipsqueak) for hat and Dress [3.5ozs. 120 yds.] Bernat Baby Boucle' for the Heart and for the Hat [1 ozs. 50 yds.] Ribbon and button: optional Size 11 needles str., circ, dpns
